"The Boy Who Belonged To The Sea"

Written by Denis Thériault.

The Boy Who Belonged to the Sea is a hauntingly poetic tale of grief, friendship, and imagination, following a young boy grappling with the loss of his mother who is drawn into the mysterious, otherworldly aura of a new friend and the wild pull of the sea.

We’ve shot a short proof of concept, filmed on Pett Level beach in the bleak midwinter, as the first step in bringing the full screenplay to life and securing funding for the feature.
